Pro-Life and Pro-Choice = The Same Thing? Hardly

I'm fully aware that the hosts of The View do not read my blog. That being said, I don't watch The View, either. Today, I ran across a headline on Facebook that piqued my interest and I listened to a clip about the abortion issue from The View.  Several of the hosts seem to think that you can be pro-life and pro-choice at the same time. Some said everyone is pro life.....we're all pro life....you can be pro life and pro choice at the same time.

How, exactly would that work?

If one is pro life, it means they want life for all babies.

If one is pro choice, it means they want the right to choose death for babies.

How can they not see the contradiction in their own dialog?

They don't want the government to stop them from killing babies.

They want to kill babies at will.
They want the choice to kill.
That's what it means to be pro-choice.
The right to choose to kill.

One really has to feel bad for Joy Behar and Whoopie Goldberg. It's hard to imagine being grown women, yet not understanding that choosing death does not even remotely make a person pro-life.

The option to choose death is not a pro-life stance, no matter how you slice it.
