The Devil in Pew Number Seven

The Devil in Pew Number SevenThe Devil in Pew Number Seven by Rebecca Nichols Alonzo
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What a gripping story! As a pastor's wife, I have seen a fair share of persecution, from being assaulted in the foyer of a church to being threatened in my own home, to being shunned and ostracized by people for reasons still unknown to me. Because of this, I was able to relate to much of what happened in this book. There are noted patterns of behavior which paralleled to my own as though all offenders follow the same guide book.

The spirit of forgiveness marks Christianity. It is only possible because Christianity is not a religion; it is a relationship with Jesus Christ. This, alone, sets it apart from all other faiths.

Jesus stands ready to forgive all sins of all people......His Spirit leads us to seek His face....His Spirit leads us to repent.

I highly recommend this book.
